In a statement the couple says that the decision to end the marriage was a very hard decision. They said it’s a painful event for all people involved and they hope everyone will respect their privacy. The couple also says that they will try to keep a good relationship, despite the divorce.

Jennifer Lopez has already been divorced twice in the past. She was married to Ojani Noa and Chris Judd before, but neither marriage stood the test of time. Her romances with P. Diddy and Ben Affleck were not very successful either and they were both ended before getting married. Marc Anthony has already been divorced once before.
